রিপোর্ট: ঘনকুয়াশা বাস্কে: বাংলাদেশের সচেতন ও সুধী সমাজের সান্তালদের নিয়ে গঠিত সান্তাল কাউন্সিল বাংলাদেশ (Bangladisạm Santal Bạisi)। গত 1লা জুন 2012ইং, রোজ শুক্রবার, মহিষবাথান, রাজশাহীতে একটি আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করে। এতে বাংলাদেশের সান্তালী ভাষা ভাষীদের মধ্য থেকে সর্ব শ্রেনীর লোকেরা অংশগ্রহন করেন। আলোচনা সভায় তীব্র ভাবে বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষা শেখানোর বিরুদ্ধে উপস্থিত সবাই মতামত ব্যক্ত করেন। উল্লেখ্যে, সম্প্রতি কিছু কিছু এনজিও ও স্বার্থনেষী মহল বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষা শেখানোর জন্য অপতৎপরতা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এ জন্য তারা ঢাকায় গোপন বৈঠক করে মন্ত্রনালয় এ বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষা শেখার জন্য সুপারিশ পেশ করেছে বলে জানা গিয়েছে এবং প্রথাগত সান্তালী অক্ষরমালাকে একটি রোমান অক্ষরমালা হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করে, তারা এটাকে বাদ দেওয়ার জন্য জোর অপতৎপরতা চালাচ্ছে। এর ফলশ্রুতিতে সান্তালী ভাষাভাষীদের মধ্যে তীব্র ক্ষোভ সঞ্চারিত হচ্ছে। তাই সান্তালী ভাষা ভাষীদের সংঠন সান্তাল কাউন্সিল বাংলাদেশ এই আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করে। আলোচনা সভা থেকে এ তৎপরতার বিরুদ্ধে তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানানো হয়। এবং সভায় উপস্থিত বক্তাদের কাছ থেকে জানা যায় যে, প্রথাগতভাবে ব্যবহৃত রোমান অক্ষরমালার সাথে সাংকিতিক চিহ্ন যুক্ত হওয়ায় এখন আর এই অক্ষরমালাকে রোমান অক্ষর বলা ঠিক হবে না, বরং এখন সেটা সান্তালী অক্ষরমালা, যা ১৫০ বছরেরও বেশী সময় ধরে সান্তালী ভাষায় নির্ভূলভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে আসছে। বক্তারা আরো বলেন, সান্তালী ভাষা বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সঠিকভাবে উচ্চারন করা কোনমতে সম্ভব না। তাই বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষায় কোন বইপুস্ত্মক ছাপানো হলে কিংবা কোমলমতি শিশুদের শেখানো হলে, তা হবে একটি আত্মঘাতী শিক্ষা। শিশুরা সঠিক উচ্চারন শিখতে পারবে না, ফলে সান্তালী ভাষা একদিন সম্পূর্ন বিকৃতরুপ ধারন ও বিলুপ্ত হতে পারে। আলোচনায় সান্তালী উইকিপিডিয়ার আগামী দিনের দিক নির্দেশনার বিষয় আলোচিত হয়।

সান্তালী ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির গবেষক-লেখক, সান্তালী ভাষা বিশেষজ্ঞ, অধ্যাপক এসসি আলবার্ট সরেন বলেন, "এই অপতৎপরতার বিরুদ্ধে সবাইকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ থাকতে হবে।"

রিপোর্ট: ঘনকুয়াশা বাস্কে: বাংলাদেশের সচেতন ও সুধী সমাজের সান্তালদের নিয়ে গঠিত সান্তাল কাউন্সিল বাংলাদেশ (Bangladisạm Santal Bạisi)। গত 1লা জুন 2012ইং, রোজ শুক্রবার, মহিষবাথান, রাজশাহীতে একটি আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করে। এতে বাংলাদেশের সান্তালী ভাষা ভাষীদের মধ্য থেকে সর্ব শ্রেনীর লোকেরা অংশগ্রহন করেন। আলোচনা সভায় তীব্র ভাবে বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষা শেখানোর বিরুদ্ধে উপস্থিত সবাই মতামত ব্যক্ত করেন। উল্লেখ্যে, সম্প্রতি কিছু কিছু এনজিও ও স্বার্থনেষী মহল বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষা শেখানোর জন্য অপতৎপরতা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এ জন্য তারা ঢাকায় গোপন বৈঠক করে মন্ত্রনালয় এ বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষা শেখার জন্য সুপারিশ পেশ করেছে বলে জানা গিয়েছে এবং প্রথাগত সান্তালী অক্ষরমালাকে একটি রোমান অক্ষরমালা হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করে, তারা এটাকে বাদ দেওয়ার জন্য জোর অপতৎপরতা চালাচ্ছে। এর ফলশ্রুতিতে সান্তালী ভাষাভাষীদের মধ্যে তীব্র ক্ষোভ সঞ্চারিত হচ্ছে। তাই সান্তালী ভাষা ভাষীদের সংঠন সান্তাল কাউন্সিল বাংলাদেশ এই আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করে। আলোচনা সভা থেকে এ তৎপরতার বিরুদ্ধে তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানানো হয়। এবং সভায় উপস্থিত বক্তাদের কাছ থেকে জানা যায় যে, প্রথাগতভাবে ব্যবহৃত রোমান অক্ষরমালার সাথে সাংকিতিক চিহ্ন যুক্ত হওয়ায় এখন আর এই অক্ষরমালাকে রোমান অক্ষর বলা ঠিক হবে না, বরং এখন সেটা সান্তালী অক্ষরমালা, যা ১৫০ বছরেরও বেশী সময় ধরে সান্তালী ভাষায় নির্ভূলভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে আসছে। বক্তারা আরো বলেন, সান্তালী ভাষা বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সঠিকভাবে উচ্চারন করা কোনমতে সম্ভব না। তাই বাংলা অক্ষরমালায় সান্তালী ভাষায় কোন বইপুস্ত্মক ছাপানো হলে কিংবা কোমলমতি শিশুদের শেখানো হলে, তা হবে একটি আত্মঘাতী শিক্ষা। শিশুরা সঠিক উচ্চারন শিখতে পারবে না, ফলে সান্তালী ভাষা একদিন সম্পূর্ন বিকৃতরুপ ধারন ও বিলুপ্ত হতে পারে। আলোচনায় সান্তালী উইকিপিডিয়ার আগামী দিনের দিক নির্দেশনার বিষয় আলোচিত হয়।

সান্তালী ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির গবেষক-লেখক, সান্তালী ভাষা বিশেষজ্ঞ, অধ্যাপক এসসি আলবার্ট সরেন বলেন, "এই অপতৎপরতার বিরুদ্ধে সবাইকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ থাকতে হবে।"

এছাড়াও কর্মশালায় আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রবীন সান্তাল সমাজকর্মী মিঃ সন্তোষ সরেন, জেলা সমবায় অফিসার মিঃ সূর্যকান্ত হেমরম, সমাজ কর্মী মিঃ এভারেষ্ট হেমরম, এডভোকেট নরেন্দ্রনাথ টুডু, মিঃ দুরবীন কিস্কু, অধ্যাপক যোগেন্দ্রনাথ সরেন, সান্তালী উইকিপিডিয়ান মিঃ সালভাদর পাউরিয়া, বিপ্লব বাস্কে, সভাপতি, আসারু, রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, সান্তালী উইকিপিডিয়ার উদ্যোক্তা সমর মাইকেল সরেন এবং সান্তাল যুব সমাজ। কর্মশালার সভাপতিত্ব করেন সান্তালী ভাষার লেখক ও সাহিত্যিক মিঃ গাব্রিয়েল হাঁসদা।
